Challenge 75 At Paper Cutz this week

I am really trying to catch up with my scrapbooking, selling stock from the store and many other projects. This week at Paper Cutz, the challenge is to make anything of your choice, layout, card, or paper craft. I really liked the pages I did for my granddaughters album after she went to a Miley Cyrus concert. I used the cricut for all the stars and words. Please join us this week with your favorite project!!!!

Challenge 74 at Paper Cutz this week!

This week over at Paper Cutz, the challenge is to make any card, layout or papercraft using a tag or tags on it in any theme you would like. I decided to do a layout since I am soooo behind in my scrapbooking of the grandchildren on vacation. I picked up this paper at Hobby Lobby and used Bazzill cardstock. I made my assorted tags from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More. I really like this cartridge! I am working on the companion page now. I hope you will join us this week in the challenge because we love seeing your work!!!

A Card to share

My friend Emily had a birthday last week and this is a card I made for her. She loves purple so I picked some papers I thought she would like. I actually think the plaid came from a stack, but not sure which one. I did use a CTMH stamp set. Since closing my store a few months ago, I have not had time to sort through stuff I had left and last weekend I went through my own personal stash of papers. Owning a store I guess meant grabbing several sheets of everything new that arrives. I sorted through and probably have around 400 sheets of specialty scrapbook papers available to retail stores to sell. I am working on this now and I think will be taking a little time away from crafting. I will be selling on ebay and will post something here when I get them ready. Great papers for around 20 cents a sheet and that is not even close to the wholesale costs! You can pick up some super packages. I will keep you posted!

Back to the Challenges!

It is good to be back to crafting a little and this week over to Paper Cutz we are having our first challenge in the New Year. You are to make a card, layout, or craft project using metal such as brads, eyelets, wire etc. in any color or theme you want. I decided to do a thank you card and used some metal snowflake brads on the card. Follow the link above and join us this week.

Happy New Year

I wish all my wonderful friends a very Happy New Year. It was a rocky couple of months for me, but I think I am finally on the mend (she says with her fingers crossed). I have not been able to sit long enough to do any crafting and it was driving me crazy. I did not make resolutions this year because I do not keep them, but decided on goals instead. One of my goals was to keep all my pictures printed, labeled and journaled in a box for each grandchild till I get to scrap them. I have almost got all of 2010 pictures printed. I am a little behind in scrapping, but have one grandchild completely finished 2009 since she was born in June that year you would think it was would not be much but 2 albums for her first six months. Her parents waited 10 years so no moments went uncaptured. I love it too. My other two angels have some of them done so I am doing one at a time and going to a crop this weekend so I plan on getting a few pages done. I can't wait to start challenges again and today I will be working on this weeks challenge over at Paper Cutz. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday, I know I did even though I was in pain. The joy on the little angels faces took away that pain. I will be posting some work this week, which is another of my goals is to share more and get more followers . I had so many plans when I retired, but got sidelined for awhile. Have a wonderful and crafty week!
